On 1-2 December 2022, PT Berlian Laju Tanker Tbk visited local orphanage namely Panti Asuhan Muhammadiyah located in Tanah Abang – Jakarta Pusat (1 December 2022) and Panti Asuhan Hati Bangsa located in Jembatan Dua Raya – Jakarta Utara (2 December 2022) as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibilty program.
Panti Asuhan Muhammadiyah was established on 1982, currently housed 31 childrens with age range from 8 years old to 17 years old. Panti Asuhan Hati Bangsa was established on 2016, currently housed 36 childrens with age range from 8 years old to 15 years old.
This program attended by Directors and staff from BLT Group. The Company has contributed grocery items such as cooking oil, soy sauce, sugar, butter, flour and toiletries items such as soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, towel, detergent and school supplies.
The orphanage house has helped more than 200 children to have a better formal and non-formal education. We hopes that this kind of activity will enhance social awareness and respect for society, and appreciation for the value of an orphan’s life.
