On July 10, 2024, PT Berlian Laju Tanker Tbk (IDX: BLTA) held its Second Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (Second Meeting) at Wisma BSG, Jalan Abdul Muis No.40 – Central Jakarta. The meeting was attended by the Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors as well as registered shareholders. One of the agendas of the Second Meeting is the Approval of the Annual Report and the ratification of the Company’s Consolidated Financial Statements for the financial year ending on December 31, 2023.
According to the Financial Statements, the Group achieved a 48.9% increase in operating income, rising to US$39 million in 2023 from US$26.2 million in 2022. Additionally, the Group’s net profit grew by 64.5% year-over-year, reaching US$15.6 million in 2023 compared to US$9.5 million in 2022. The Company’s Total Comprehensive Profit for 2023 was recorded at US$17.8 million, reflecting a 125.1% increase from 2022 and underscoring a significant improvement in overall performance.
